The VADDS 2011 Conference was held on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October 2011 at Rydges Bell City Conference Centre, 215 Bell Street, Preston.

This year's conference had a distinctive national theme: Alcohol Interlocks - Towards a National System. The key focus was on jurisdictional, educational, other legal and medical issues, including rehabilitation programs, associated with alcohol interlock legislation and implementation across Australia.

Doug Beirness, a road safety professional with 30 years experience in alcohol and drug impaired driving, was our international keynote speaker. Highly regarded national and local presenters also provided an exciting, informative and thought provoking forum.
